There was no fight on the 17th.

The second attempt was made on the 18th with the help of Sea Tigers. We were able to make landings but couldn't proceed further forward. ⁣We lost and some of the dinghies were sunk too.


372 Tamil soldiers (including an unknown number of Sea Tigers and at least one Black Tiger (lt. col. Pootto)) laid down their lives in the whole battle.
