20/10/1995 | கொலன்னாவை எண்ணெய் குதம் மீதான தாக்குதல் | Kolonnawa oil storage facility attack
During this attack, 3 Tigers, including 2 Black Tigers (Lt. Col. Suutti, Major Raku alias Sivam), laid down their lives. One agent, who drove the lorry, was captured alive, tortured and released in the year 1998, but due to unbearable torture pain, he committed suicide the same year. He hailed from Vavuniya.
A moment of silence for those 4 fallen heroes. They laid down their lives for a peaceful life of future for Tamil generations.

Tamil Eelam De-facto military LTTE's Undercover Black Tigers(UBT) attacked a major oil storage facility in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo early on Friday (20/10), moments before three powerful explosions rocked the site, causing a major fire. A second attack on another oil depot created havoc. Explosions set oil storage tanks ablaze and a shroud of black oily smoke hovered over the city. At least 23 sinhala soldiers were killed in battles at the two sites between the LTTE and government forces. Two of five huge storage tanks containing diesel and kerosene were ablaze at the main Kolonnawa storage depot outside Colombo, while a fire burned out of control at the smaller Orugodawatte tanks a mile (1.6 kilometres) away
